Plitvice Lakes became Croatia’s first National Park in 1949, and in 1979 became part of Unesco World Heritage list. The park contains more than 1000 different species of plants, wildlife found in park includes otters, boar, deer, wildcats, lynx, birds, bears, lot of rich flora and fauna. Plitvice Lakes system of trails and boardwalks makes it possible for visitor to get immersed in the parks beauty.
